Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026. This policy covers consumer health data as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut.
1. Consumer health data we collect, and why
- Health information you type, paste or upload into an app, such as a medical report, lab result, medication, symptom, condition, diet or weight goal, or a health concern you describe. We use it only to create the answer you ask for.
- Health topics in PlanListGo checklists you choose to save, such as caregiving, pregnancy or recovery plans. We use them to build and save your checklist.
- Health topics in StudyXplainr history, such as a science question or a personal concern a student mentions. We save it so the student, and a parent the student links, can review it.
- The name of the app you use (for example, MedeXplainr or DietXplainr), which could suggest a health interest. We use it to run the app and to charge the right credit.
2. Where it comes from
Only from you, when you type, paste or upload it into our apps.
3. Consumer health data we share
The same health information described in section 1, only as needed to provide the service you asked for.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that process it for us: Anthropic (writes the answers), Vercel (hosting), and Supabase (stores saved checklists and StudyXplainr history).
- A parent or guardian a student links in StudyXplainr, who can read that student's saved history.
We have no affiliates, and we never sell consumer health data.
5. Your rights, and how to use them
- Confirm and access: ask whether we have your consumer health data and get a copy, with a list of every third party it has been shared with and how to reach them.
- Delete: ask us to delete it. We delete it from our systems, including backups as they are replaced, and tell our service providers to delete it too.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you've given for collecting or sharing it.
